History
Les Fonderies et manufactures Godin-Lemaire s'installent à Guise en 1846 et leur dénomination disparaît avec la fondation de l'Association coopérative du capital et du travail en 1880. La nouvelle entreprise coopérative s'intitule Société du familistère de Guise, avec pour raison sociale Godin & Cie, puis à la mort du fondateur en jnavier 1888, Marie Moret veuve godin & Cie et ensuite Ancienne Maison Godin. Lorsque disparaît en 1968 l'Association coopérative du capital et du travail, l'usine de Guise est reprise par une nouvelle société anonyme, Godin SA, contrôlée par les actionnaires de Le Creuset. En 1988, la fonderie est rachetée par le groupe Les cheminées Philippe.
